The Big Springs Museum showcases the heart of the Caledonia-Mumford community, the deep-rooted connection to the land and the rich history of those that call this area home. Our collections exhibit the of hard work, resilience, and the bonds that tie neighbors together in our rural community.

The museum is a 10,000 sq. ft. addition to the original Caledonia School, providing an expansive space for our long standing exhibits.

Our collections are curated with the intention of

making history an adventure.

The Big Springs Museum will be a vibrant community leader, providing historical, cultural and educational programs.
